It was a big night for longtime friends Peter Dinklage and Ethan Hawke!

Both of the guys won awards while attending the 2021 Gotham Awards on Monday night (November 29) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

It was previously announced that Peter would be getting a Performers Tribute for his work in the movie Cyrano and he was joined at the event by director Joe Wright and co-stars Haley Bennett and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

Ethan presented the award to Peter and the video is so sweet. This wasn’t Ethan‘s only moment on stage though!

Netflix has released the trailer for their new movie starring Rosamund Pike!

The 41-year-old actress stars in the new dark comedic thriller I Care A Lot alongside Peter Dinklage, Eiza González and Dianne Wiest.

Here’s the synopsis via Netflix: “Poised with sharklike self-assurance, Marla Grayson (Pike) is a professional, court-appointed guardian for dozens of elderly wards whose assets she seizes and cunningly bilks through dubious but legal means. It’s a well-oiled racket that Marla and her business-partner and lover Fran (González) use with brutal efficiency on their latest “cherry,” Jennifer Peterson (Wiest) – a wealthy retiree with no living heirs or family. But when their mark turns out to have an equally shady secret of her own and connections to a volatile gangster (Dinklage), Marla is forced to level up in a game only predators can play – one that’s neither fair, nor square.”

I Care A Lot will be released on February 19.

Peter Dinklage has lined up his next project with Toxic Avenger.

Deadline reports that the Emmy-winning actor will star as the title character in the movie from Legendary studios.

The movie will be a contemporary reimagining the 1984 action comedy flick.

The Toxic Avenger is “a struggling everyman, who is pushed into a vat of toxic waste, and is transformed into a mutant freak”.

From there, he must go from shunned outcast to underdog hero as he races to save his son, his friends and his community from the forces of corruption and greed.

Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz will serve as producers on the upcoming movie, with Macon Blair directing.

Peter Dinklage will be playing the classic character Cyrano de Bergerac in the upcoming musical movie Cyrano and it was just announced that Kelvin Harrison Jr. will join the cast!

The 26-year-old actor will be playing the role of Christian while Haley Bennett is taking on the character Roxanne, according to Deadline.

Also appearing in the movie will be Brian Tyree Henry and Ben Mendelsohn.

The musical Cyrano movie will be an adaptation of the Off-Broadway stage show, which was written by Peter‘s wife Erica Schmidt. She wrote the screenplay and the film will be directed by Joe Wright, who is Haley‘s real-life partner.

Kelvin is best known for his work in the movies Luce, Waves, The Photograph, and most recently, The High Note.
