Hunter King and Rhiannon Fish play twins in the new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths and they became real-life BFFs on set!

In the film, fraternal twins Nikki and Nora are forced back into each other’s lives when they inherit a detective agency. As they solve a murder, they realize their differences may be their greatest advantage. The new movie will premiere on Sunday night (October 2) at 9/8c and the actresses opened up about their film in a recent live chat.

During the chat, Hunter and Rhiannon were asked to talk about their favorite scenes in the movie.

“I need to preface this by saying that every scene with you is my favorite scene. I just loved working with you because it didn’t really feel like working. It felt like I was getting paid to hang out with my best friend,” Hunter said.

The former The 100 actress stars opposite Benjamin Hollingsworth in the new movie, which debuts TONIGHT, July 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Here’s a summary: Chloe (Fish) is halfway through her PhD program in marine mammalogy (the study of whales) at one of Miami’s top universities. She pulls long hours at the lab, but what she loves most is being out on the water with the majestic creatures.

But given her competitive field, she doesn’t get that opportunity as much as she’d like. At the top of her class, she is considering applying for a highly sought-after scholarship that would fund the last two years of her doctorate.

Dr. Andrea Ware (Madeleine Kelders) Chloe’s mentor, who encourages her to go beyond their local waters. Dr. Ware convinces her to expand her studies to cover whales in the Pacific Northwest, where she would gain more experience out in the field, and hopefully the confidence to apply for the scholarship.

While there, Chloe meets a whale watching tour guide (Hollingsworth) and they soon find themselves bonding over more than just Orcas.
