Sarah Palin Says She Found Out Husband Todd Was Divorcing Her in an Email

Sarah Palin is opening up about her split from husband Todd Palin.

In a new interview with Christian author James Dobson, the 55-year-old former Alaska governor says she found out that Todd was seeking a divorce while she was routinely checking her email inbox.

Sarah claimed she learned Todd wanted a divorce when one of his lawyers emailed her in June.

“It was devastating. I thought I got shot,” Sarah revealed about how she felt after the filing became official in September, on Todd’s 55th birthday and a week after their 31st wedding anniversary.

Sarah went on to say that she and Todd are now working on repairing their relationship.

“We’re going through counseling now, so it’s not over, over,” Sarah said. “Attorneys are getting rich off of us and I don’t like that whole system. It makes no sense to me.”

Sarah added: “God doesn’t want families to split up. I know that. To me, in a general sense, marriage is so extremely important as foundation of our nation. It helps make America that much greater, is that security of family. I’m not to the point of wanting mine to be split.”

Sarah and Todd share five kids: Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, and Trig.

Sarah Palin & Husband Todd Split After 30 Years of Marriage

Sarah Palin and her husband Todd Palin are reportedly divorcing after thirty years of marriage.

Todd, 55, filed the papers on Friday (September 6) at an Alaska courthouse.

According to documents, as reported by an Alaska newspaper, he cited “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife” as the reason for the split.

They only have one child under the age of 18, Trig Palin, who is 11 and Todd requested joint custody. Willow, Track, Piper and Bristol Palin are all over 18.

They married in 1998 and were often photographed together when she was running for Vice President alongside John McCain in 2008.

Sacha Baron Cohen Invites This Public Figure to Be His Date at Golden Globes 2019

Sacha Baron Cohen was nominated for a Golden Globe award this morning for his work in Who Is America?.

The 47-year-old actor and comedian is reacting to the nomination in a statement where he asked former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin to be his date.

“I appreciate the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing me, which luckily is something that none of the guests on the show did. This is such a special honour for me as the HFPA are always among the first to really appreciate my ever evolving humour,” Sacha told Deadline. “I am humbled to be recognised among such a wonderful group of nominees, all of whom I admire. This show was a labour of love for over two years. It is a shame they overlooked the amazing performances by the rest of the cast, particularly Dick Cheney and Roy Moore. Meanwhile Ms Palin, despite being cut from the show, I hope you will accept my invitation to be my date for the ceremony.”

Sarah reportedly did an interview for the show, but it never aired.

Sarah Palin Slams 'Evil' Sacha Baron Cohen for Tricking Her Into Fake Interview for His New Show

Sarah Palin is claiming she was “duped” into a fake interview with Sacha Baron Cohen for his upcoming show Who Is America?

The 54-year-old former Governor of Alaska took to Facebook on Tuesday (July 10) to slam the 46-year-old actor/comedian for tricking her into believing that he was a disabled U.S. veteran for fake interview for his upcoming show.

“Yup — we were duped. Ya’ got me, Sacha,” Sarah writes. “Feel better now? I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick ‘humor’ of the British ‘comedian’ Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime.”

Sarah went on to reveal that she and one of her daughters were asked to travel across the country for what she believed was an interview to honor American Vets – where she encountered a “heavily disguised” Sacha in a “fake wheelchair.”

“I sat through a long ‘interview’ full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm — but finally had enough and literally, physically removed my mic and walked out, much to Cohen’s chagrin,” Sarah continued. “The disrespect of our U.S. military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse.”

Sarah also claims that the show’s production team purposefully dropped her and her daughter off at the wrong Washington, D.C. in an attempt for her to miss her flight home after the interview.

Sacha‘s show Who Is America? will premiere on Sunday (July 15) at 10pm ET on Showtime.

New information has been released after the arrest of Sarah Palin‘s eldest son Track.

According to the Anchorage Daily News, the 28-year-old son of the former Alaska Governor broke into his parents house on Saturday night (December 16) and assaulted his father Todd.

Sarah was the one that called the police around 8:30pm to report that Track was “freaking out and was on some type of medication,” according to a sworn affidavit filed in court by Wasilla officer Adam LaPointe.

The affidavit filed that night also reports that Track came to his parents house to confront Todd over a disagreement over a truck, but Todd told him not to come because he knew his son was drinking and taking pain medications.

Todd then reportedly met his son outside while carrying a pistol to “protect his family” causing Track to break through a window and tackling to his father to the ground and repeatedly began hitting him in the head.

Todd was able to escape while bleeding from his head and ears, and he and Sarah left the house with Track inside.

When the police arrived, Todd and a “visibly upset” Sarah left in two separate cars while the police tried to get Track out of the house.

Track was the handcuffed and arrested on felony burglary, misdemeanor reckless assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief for causing up to $500 in property damage.

Sarah and her family have not commented on the arrest yet.
