Shakira brought her sons Sasha and Milan as her dates to the 2023 Premios Juventud Awards on Thursday night (July 20) in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The 46-year-old “Hips Don’t Lie” pop sensation skipped the red carpet ahead of the ceremony, which took place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. However, she spent plenty of time onstage as she received 8 awards during the evening.

One of her wins was the “Agent of Change” award, which also went to Camila Cabello. She was also dubbed Best Female Artist and received the win for Best Song.

Shakira has announced that her 21-month-old son Sasha has been ill and he is thankfully doing much better!

The 39-year-old entertainer was forced to cancel upcoming appearances at tomorrow’s Latin Grammys and the American Music Awards, set for this Sunday. After cancelling the performances, Shakira cited “personal matters” as the reason for the cancellation at the time.

On Tuesday (November 15), Shakira took to Twitter to announce Sasha is feeling much better!

“Thanks for all the messages you sent for Sasha while he was sick. Everything is under control now, and he’s back to his cheerful self!,” Shakira tweeted about her son with soccer star Gerard Pique.
