Tate McRae is back with new music.

The 18-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter returned on Friday (February 4) with her new track, “she’s all i wanna be.”

Addison Rae checks her phone while leaving a workout class on Friday morning (January 28) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old TikTok star and Netflix actress wore an all black outfit, complete with Converse shoes.

The night before, Addison was seen leaving celebrity hot spot Craig’s Restaurant alongside singer Tate McRae.

That morning, Tate was nominated for multiple 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards!

“just found out I’m nominated for 3 IHEART RADIO MUSIC AWARDS 😭😭 i love u i love u i love u guys,” she shared on Instagram. Congrats Tate!!

The singer is up for Best New Pop Artist, Dance Song of the Year for “You” with Regard and Troye Sivan, and Best Cover Song for her version of Conan Gray‘s “Heather.”

If you didn’t see, Addison recently opened up about what kind of roles she wants to take on for upcoming projects under her Netflix deal.

The trio of musicians were joined at the big event by fellow performers Saweetie, Ed Sheeran and Lil Nas X.

Charli XCX and Tate McRae also hit the stage for some performances along with Chloe Bailey and special guests, Girl5Eva‘s Busy Philipps and Renee Elise Goldsberry.

Sisters Charli and Dixie D’Amelio reunited backstage for a cute moment too.

Others spotted at the annual concert event included Bazzi and on-stage presenters Drew Barrymore and Martha Stewart.

This other musician was supposed to perform tonight, but had to drop out.

Doja Cat and Saweetie bring the heat for their performances at the iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2021 presented by Capital One at The Forum on Friday night (December 3) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old “Kiss Me More” singer and the 28-year-old “Icy Grl” rapper were joined by a number of other artists at the event, including Anitta, Dixie D’Amelio and Tate McRae.

While walking the red carpet, Saweetie opened up about learning she had been nominated for a Grammy back in November.

“Honestly, a whole bunch of texts messages told me the news,” she told 102.7 KIIS FM. “I was sleeping, waking up, ready to start a busy day… and then I was like, I’m Grammy nominated!”

The rapper added, “I’m just honored to be here. It’s Jingle Ball, it’s icy season, it’s just time to have fun!”

Saweetie recently performed a medley of her hits on Saturday Night Live and you can see the video here!

Lots of stars are stepping out on the red carpet at the 2021 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 21) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Zoe Wees, Becky G, and Tate McRae were all spotted on the carpet ahead of the show!

During the show this evening, Zoe will be performing her song “Girls Like Us.”

Becky is nominated for Favorite Female Artist – Latin. She is up against Kali Uchis, Karol G, Natti Natasha, and Rosalia.

Tate McRae is a rising star in the music world, but did you know that she has a background in dance?

The 17-year-old singer had a huge breakout this year with “you broke me first,” but she already broke out years ago while competing on So You Think You Can Dance at the age of 13.

So, what does Tate think of all the latest TikTok dance trends? She opened up in the latest episode of the Spout podcast!

“Okay, here’s the biggest thing. I think Tiktok dances are super fun and I like, I do them too. I think they’re fun and I do them with my friends and it’s like a cute challenge. I think it’s like really cool. But I do hate when people say this is dancing because it’s not,” Tate said.

She continued, “Because it’s like, you know, dancers train. It’s like saying you’re a gymnast and you can’t do back flips and all these like crazy things. It’s like, as a dancer, you train your whole life to the technical and to have all these different techniques and you know, it was a lot of hard work and I think Tiktok moves are like, what? Like my parents do them. It’s like party dancing.”

Tate did admit that some of the dances are harder than they look!
