Matthew McConaughey hits the beach with his two adorable kids, Levi and Vida, on Wednesday (May 30) in Malibu, Calif.

The 42-year-old actor, his 4-year-old son, and 2-year-old daughter built sand castles and splashed in the water all afternoon.

Matthew and his fiancee Camila Alves were in Cannes, France last week! Two of Matthew‘s films premiered at the festival and got great reviews!

The first is The Paperboy, a thriller with Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman. The second is Mud, where he stars opposite Reese Witherspoon.

Matthew McConaughey, fiancee Camila Alves, son Levi, and daughter Vida are all smiles on their family walk on Sunday (March 18) in Austin, Texas.

The 42-year-old actor carried Levi on his shoulders, while Camila held on to Vida. Both the kiddos were enjoying lollipops!

Last weekend, Matthew and Camila hit up the SXSW premiere of his movie, Killer Joe.

Matt can next be seen in the upcoming film Mud, opposite Reese Witherspoon. The movie centers around two teenage boys who encounter a fugitive and pact to help him escape from an island in the Mississippi. Look out for Mud when it arrives in theaters next year.

The 42-year-old actor flew into Southern California with his longtime partner, Camila Alves, and their 22-month-old daughter, Vida.

Matthew is currently working on the drama, Mud, which centers on two teenage boys who meet a fugitive and decide to help him escape from an island in the Mississippi.

“The script’s really, really good. The writing is very unique. [Writer/director] Jeff Nichols] has a great Southern voice and he writes amazing dialogue – stuff you look at and go, ‘Well, I don’t wanna change that,’” he told Empire.

“I guess [the movie is] a fairytale about love, in terms of what this boy finds out about love through Mud. And you don’t see that many scripts that are good, sorta Stand By Me, summer-of-love fairytales like that,” Matthew added.

Reese‘s new film Water for Elephants performed better than expected at the weekend box office. While the film finished the weekend in third place, it grossed a respectable $17.5 million!
