Kim Kardashian is mourning the loss of football player Will Smith, who was shot and killed after a fender bender on Saturday (April 9).

The 35-year-old reality star is friends with Racquel Smith, Will‘s wife. Racquel was shot during the incident, but she is expected to make a full recovery.

“My heart breaks for my sweet friend Rockie. I’m deeply saddened by your loss. Will, you were an angel to your family on earth and you will continue to be in the life after. May God bless you! Will played several years for the New Orleans Saints, the same team as her ex boyfriend Reggie Bush. Our thoughts are with Racquel and her family during this tragic time.

According to ABC News, the 34-year-old former Saints player was shot and killed after a minor car accident on Saturday night (April 9) in New Orleans, La.

A man named Cardell Hayes, 28, was later arrested in connection to the death and is currently being held without bond on one count of second-degree murder.

Will‘s wife Racquel, who was riding in the car with him, was also shot, but is expected to make a full recovery. They have two children together.
