Dakota Johnson is a guest on the Wednesday (November 27) episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and her interview turned awkward pretty quickly!

Ellen started off the interview by wishing Dakota a belated happy birthday and asking why she wasn’t invited to her birthday party. Dakota said she DID invite her, but that’s not even the awkward part.

“Tig Notaro performed at your party? What did she do?” Ellen asked.

“She did, it was a surprise! [She did] a bunch of funny stuff. She’s my favorite comedian,” Dakota said before awkwardly adding “other than you.” She then got off the couch and said goodbye, but went back to the seat right after.

After Dakota said she was sorry, Ellen replied, “No, no. I was just talking to my favorite actress the other day, Jennifer Aniston.”

Ellen had Tig perform at her birthday party recently too and Dakota was there, so Ellen asked if that’s where they first met. Dakota then revealed that she had to leave that party early and missed the set!

There was also an awkward moment when Ellen brought up Dakota‘s boyfriend Chris Martin and she clearly didn’t want to say much about their relationship.

Later in the interview, Dakota brought out her The Peanut Butter Falcon co-star Zack Gottsagen to talk about their inspiring movie.

Dakota Johnson strikes a pose on the black carpet as she arrives at the 2019 Governors Awards on Sunday night (October 27) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

The 30-year-old actress looked pretty in a white crop top and dramatic, white skirt as she attended the event alongside her Peanut Butter Falcon co-star Zack Gottsagen.

Also stepping out for the event was Shia LaBeouf and his Honey Boy co-star Noah Jupe.

Shia starred in both Peanut Butter Falcon and Honey Boy.

Shia LaBeouf is looking sharp.

The 33-year-old actor was in attendance for the Peanut Butter Falcon UK premiere during the 2019 BFI London Film Festival at Embankment Gardens Cinemas on Thursday (October 3) in London, United Kingdom.

Shia was joined by director Michael Schwartz, director Tyler Nilson, co-star Zack Gottsagen and festival director for the BFI London Film Festival Tricia Tuttle at the event.

The Peanut Butter Falcon is about to hit theaters, and there’s a new promotional poster for the upcoming movie.

The special illustrated poster, created by artist Oliver Barrett, was released on Wednesday (August 14) ahead of the film’s theatrical release on Friday (August 16).

The movie stars Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson, Zack Gottsagen, John Hawkes, Thomas Haden Church, Jon Bernthal and Bruce Dern.

It sounds like Shia LaBeouf, Zack Gottsagen, and Dakota Johnson had a lot of fun preparing for their new film The Peanut Butter Falcon!

The co-stars stopped by Build Series NYC on Wednesday (August 7) in New York City.

During their appearance, the cast revealed that some bonding activities they did together were getting pedicures (though Shia opted out of that trip), watching wresting, eating chocolate cake, and more.

In The Peanut Butter Falcon, Zak (Gottsagen) runs away from his care home to make his dream of becoming a wrestler come true. Watch the trailer.

Shia LaBeouf keeps it cool and casual as he holds onto a cup of coffee while making his way inside the Good Morning America studios on Wednesday morning (August 7) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actor stopped by to promote his latest film The Peanut Butter Falcon and opened up about how his co-star Zack Gottsagen changed him.

“He softened me. He’s magnetic. We became like brothers quite quick,” Shia expressed. “There is no like lead time to his love. It’s just instant.”

“As you can see when he talks, you lean in,” Shia continued. “You know, you listen hard and I wasn’t listening like that, you know, I wasn’t greeting the world like that. He greets the world like this, you know, and that’s — With an open heart.”

“Everybody starts at 100 with him and I wasn’t moving like that and I have been moving different since knowing him,” Shia concluded on Zack Gottsagen. “Leaning into people, you know?”
