OlderRussell Crowe Beamed Up For Star Trek Movie
Russell Crowe takes his son Charlie, 3 1/2, to pick up a dress for mommy Danielle Spencer during a shopping trip at “Harry Who” in the Double Bay area of Sydney on Thursday.
Russell, 43, has reportedly been approached by director J.J. Abrams to play a villain in the new Star Trek movie.
“Russell is definitely considering J.J. Abrams‘s offer,” said a source. “Russell was always a Star Trek fan as a kid, which is a big bonus. A baddie would seem more likely for Russell. He could play a part in the historic movie without having to compete with any of the original cast’s performances.”
The new Star Trek movie is due out December 2008.

Some ex-fans have been proclaiming Crowe’s professional fall for years and years now. It must be burning their asses that Yuma is getting the best reviews of the year so far, complete with talk of Oscar. And there’s still American Gangster to come.

Aawwww!! Charlie has grown up so fast! What a handsome young lad he becomes. A cutey pie for sure. I like Russ, he’s a great actor and a great dad. In my opinion, he loves his wife a lot, they’ve been together for quite awhile, even before they got married (when Russ started his early acting career in Oz). I can’t wait to see his movies this year: 3:10 to Yuma and American Gangster. They both earn rave reviews so far! Very cool stuff is what I heard.

I love Russel Crow so much! He becomes prettier with every year! But I don’t appreciate at all his bad habit of smoking cigarettes while walking with his children.
