Katie Holmes arrives at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre for her performance of All My Sons in New York City on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old has had to deal with anti-Scientology protests, however, and co-star John Lithgow has said that she has taken them in stride. He commented, “It (the protest) was much more disruptive to the other theaters on the street! Katie is lovely in the play, and she’s been such a sweetheart to work with. She has worked so hard – this is a tough, tough play. Katie is acting with thoroughbreds and she’s doing a wonderful job! She’s had to really push herself.”

I love katie, and she can look good at times, but its hard to believe shes 29, she looks haggard.

I dont understand why everyone thinks she looks old because to me she doesnt look old at all. She looks her age if not younger.
Jared really! Fierce and Focused? You need glasses or contacts. She looks like a mess. Her clothes look unkempt and dirty. With all her money and sci-minders you would think someone could wash these clothes and press them a bit. She could also afford to buy jeans that actually look good. These don’t fit right no matter what the style and they hug her legs which makes them look thicker than they are. Very unflattering.
Fierce. I don’t think so. She is a pretty woman, but one would never give her a second glance in most of your threads if she wasn’t Mrs. Tom Cruise.
WHy don’t you post some FIERCE talent and post pics of Lithgow and Weist. Now that would be FIERCE and FOCUSED.
I hope they throw signs in her face until she realises!

you must hang out with some scraggly @ss women. she’s only 29! she looks 39 at best! that’s not the way it’s supposed to work. plus, she’s rich to boot so she DEF has no excuse for looking like her grandmammy!
I can see too since Tommy has left her she is back to being the bereft – no smiles, no expression, nothing.
Is there a rule that she can’t smile, laugh or look happy if Tommy isn’t around?

I know doing a play is hard work , but she looks like she needs some serious down time. She just looks so tired and unhappy in these photos. I know everyone wants to be casual at times , but she just looks like she doesn’t care anymore.When I look at her photos from back in LA , you can hardly tell its the same woman. She looked so happy and full of light and life back then! She really needs Suri and Tom back around her, its the only time she really ever smiles.

NO lol & Im actually 37 & people think Im 18. So I look younger than Katie. But I dont understand why people thing she looks SO old… is it the clothes? I just dont think she looks that bad. I just started noticing her so maybe shes aged a lot in a short time that I havent noticed… maybe its just the stress from being a mom & being married to Tom cant help lol.
She looks at least 35 or older.

Neek, it isn’t so much the individual pieces, but the way she puts things together. She is wearing a sweater that looks like an old lady sweater, a top that calls attention to her hips and makes them look wider. Her jeans hug her legs which aren’t her best asset. They don’t fit right. The glasses, to block people from looking at her eyes look like they are from the 60′s. Her hair looks like she just got up and jumped in the shower and washed it and let it lay whichever way. Her complexion in these pictures looks pale.
So you put it all together and she looks messy, unkempt, like she is wearing dirty outdated clothes etc. That combined with her never smiling unless Tom is around-she just looks older than 29.
NOW, that said, most of us probably have days where we throw on the first thing that is in our closet, jump out of the shower and air dry our hair and hit the door running. BUT we don’t have tons of millions of dollars that could actually pay someone to tell us what to wear, wash and iron it etc. She does.
I SAY we have an intervention and CALL Stacy and Clinton on TLC’s WHAT NOT TO WEAR.

i didn’t say that YOU were old looking, i said that the women you interact with must be old looking. katie looks very old and haggard for her age…throw in her miserable expression and goodwill clothing choices and you have….well…the mess featured in the pictures above. i, myself, am 30 so i know what a woman of katie’s and my age should look like. let’s just say, if she and i were side by side….people would be calling her “bejeebus’s mom”.
Paltry and Katie both look in their 40s.
….and p.s. i’m 30 and 8.5 months pregnant so i’m TOTALLY not at the top of my game by any means but i’ll tell you what…..she looks like complete roadkill in comparison to my prego @ss!
I literally CANNOT recall the last time I saw Katie smile when she was NOT around tom or suri; i can’ t find any pics of her smiling at the public; it’s as though she smiles for tom’s benefit only
