OlderAmerica Ferrera - SAG Awards 2009
Ugly Betty star America Ferrera hits the red carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 25) in Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old actress rocked out a gorgeous nude Vera Wang dress with black tulle overlay. America finished off her look with Fred Leighton jewels and Jimmy Choo “Poem” satin platform sandals.
This year, America is up for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.”

have you seen brad and angelina on E!’s red carpet? OMG, they were SO blasé… Brad actually tried to run away like 10 times… what’s wrong with them, why do they think they’re so much better than everyone else? And Angelina looks like my grandma, bla!

Ferrara has lost weight and looks good. Dress is okay…. would look better without that silly black sash, though.

America looks like she has lost some weight. But she is looking great. And I like her dress too. Much better than the one she wore at the Golden Globes.
The fatties always say how beautiful it is to be fat, and that people should not be judged by their “fatness” than the minute they get a little recognition they start losing the weight. I guess Fatty thought that it be better for her to be a little thinner, or she sucummed to the Hollywood standards of a woman’s body. It’s okay for her to lose weight but don’t bulls#it about how it’s okay to be fat than turn around and get skinny.
