OlderAlexis Bledel & Saoirse Ronan: 'Violet & Daisy' Duo
Alexis Bledel and Saoirse Ronan shoot scenes for their new movie, Violet & Daisy, in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 28).
The twosome play the title characters — two teenage assassins accepting what they think will be a quick-and-easy job, until an unexpected target throws them off their plan.
This will be Geoffrey Fletcher‘s directorial debut. Machete‘s Danny Trejo and James Gandolfini will also star.

Geoffrey Flecther was recently heralded by Variety as one of its “10 Screenwriters to Watch.” He has since been nominated for an Academy Award, a WGA Award, a USC Libraries Scripter Award, a BAFTA Award, a Critic’s Choice Award, an NAACP Image Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay. He is the recipient of the Best Adapted Screenplay award from the AAFCA and the Satellite Awards.

Saoirse Ronan was so good in Atonement even better that Keira Knightly. Hope that Alexis could keep up w/ her

Their characters are supposed to be 17 & 19 yrs old. And w/ Alexis ageless looks, she could still pulled that off.

Alexis Bledel will be Violet in Violet and Daisy! She’s gonna play an assassin!!! As much as I love her, she’s too fragile looking for the part. I can’t imagine her as an assassin – well probably not yet…
2 hot & beautiful female assassins = definitely WIN in my book.
Alexis looks DE-Glamourize already in this film – I like it already!
And Alexis is forever gorgeous no matter whats she looks like but I still prefer her to be a brunnette rather than being blonde.

Before this thing could wrap up, Alexis got another movie titled “The Conspirator w/ James McAvoy who co-stars w/ Ronan in Atonement… just a mere coincidence?!

And as much as I like Alexis but technically speaking (as in basing on age) isn’t she too old to play a teenager?!
Meh, more interested in seeing Saoirse face-off with Cate Blanchett in Hanna.
But actually, this does sound pretty cool. But like alot of others, iffy on Bledel. can she act? i guess she was cast for a reason so here’s hopin.
