OlderGwyneth Paltrow: Music Will 'Definitely' Be in My Future
Gwyneth Paltrow belts out two songs from her new movie, Country Strong, during a recent stop at the Y! Music studios.
The 38-year-old actress sang “Coming Home,” which earned a Golden Globe nomination in the best song category, and “Country Strong.”
“I think there definitely will be singing in my future. I know that I won’t stop singing and playing guitar,” she tells Yahoo!.
“It may just be to my kids in the house. I may make a record. I may do a musical. I’m not sure, but I’m just very grateful I’m in a place now where I’ve been given an opportunity to discover this whole new side to myself.”

I am a fan, so if this comes from me it’s not simply hate. I am so annoyed with marketing device. Someone really needs to explain the diff between promotion and overkill to the makers of this film. Frankly I’m so sick of this movie already I have no desire to go see it. Gwyneth especially. I mean, enough already! We get it, you sing and sing and sing. You sing country and you learned to play guitar. We’ve been hearing it for months. We get it!
Oh, please Gwyneth. Go back to England and sing to your children (if you can find the time to spend with your children). Mediocre singer and a terrible actress. Tim McGraw is a terrible actor and with Gwyneth in the movie, it should be YUK! She is a disgrace to country music .

I don’t understand when people tell celebrities to “go away” or “stop”. What do you want her to commit suicide? How does a person just go away? Shes a celebrity, her photo will be taken. You have the ability not to click on her posts.

I don’t think that Gwyneth is that great of a singer either but she’s certainly better than Taylor Swift who kind of sucks.
Her voice is not bad but the songs are still not impressive. I think people are impressed by the novelty of an actor who can sing. We see singers who are trying to act more often.

its a good movie, i dont think anyone would regret watching it.

it looks cheesy. i might buy the soundtrack but i don’t think i’ll be seeing the movie.
shes pretty much carrying all the promotional load for this film. garrett is promoting tron, leighton her new makeup line, or is it clothing, or hair?
Garrett- while attractive is a one note actor.
She looks old in that second clip.
@kola4: He’s much better than Paltrow in this film. Haven’t seen him in anything else so can’t comment on his range.
