It just shocks me how many famous singers (Beyoncé, Nelly furtado, Mariah, Usher) performed for this man who tortured his population for almost 40 years … they really didn’t about the dictatorship in Lybia ?!!! jeez ???!!! They took the population’s money and spent it on a haute couture… how ironic is that. But Lybians won’t forget trust me …

Libya does have a very volatile situation… Egypt is not out of the woods, yet either.

@@MangerBouger: Of course ! They have to build a government on top of nothing because Kaddafi wasn’t even a president, nor a monarch, we don’t even know what status can descibe best his position…anyway my concern is that these celebrities earn millions without knowing the origin of that money: repression and torture. So their behaviour does not distinguish them from the frecnh government (nor Italy’s) who invited a dictator with the red carpet to sale them their aircraft, that are at the moment repressing the lybians.
I don’t know if you have read the mariah’s link that JJ has posted because Mariah’s statement is just hilarious (being sarcastic here). As well as the others’.

Ain't that the truth..... @ 03/06/2011 at 3:55 pm

….. and he bullied and vilified Megan Fox for saying that it wasn’t good and critiqued his directing. He’s the one that made the piece of sh*t (among others), so it’s about time that he takes responsibility for the film’s poor creative direction.

@@MangerBouger: i agree! I was suprised how after Mubarak stepped down how quickly people stopped caring as if people live happily ever after. People there are still doing bad; kids aren’t going to school and people aren’t working and the media just dismisses it.

As far as Transformers 2, amazing effects, but it was just too much, it’s fine to have Optimus and Megatron FIGHT each other in climaxing battle but having random robots fight each other every five minutes gets lame. It took away from the human element of the story, and all the human did in this one was run. The sidekick roomate annoyed the hell out of me. Story wise, I wish Megan Fox was coming back. Bay has worked with many actresses from Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner, Jaimie King, in Pearl Harbor, to Tea Leoni in Bad Boys, to Scarlett Johansson in The Island and NONE of them ever complained about working with Bay. In fact they praised him for his hard work, detail and encouragement to push them beyond. Megan Fox shot herself in the foot. You don’t compare your director to Hitler, especially one of a 2 BILLION plus franchise. This new turn in Transformers 3 looks promising though.
@ Posters discussing Libya
Isn’t it interesting how Qaddafi was relatively QUIET when George W. Bush was in office and now he’s causing trouble again. Kind of like Qaddafi was QUIET after former President Reagan told him to behave or ELSE. (Reagan should have taken Qaddafi out back in 1988 and then maybe there wouldn’t be such a problem in Libya without their dictator) Now he’s causing trouble again, and it’s because there is NO BACKBONE in Washington and I don’t need to say WHO is lacking in backbone. Libya has always been a volatile region, especially during the 1980′s. Libya has been a hotbed for terrorist training camps too, just ask counter terrorism experts. Qaddafi’s people hate him and they should he’s been a stain on Libya forever. There is also evidence the Qaddafi ordered the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland in 1988. Washington doesn’t know what to do here. So they do nothing.
