Ryan Kwanten Rescues Bloody Man Lying in Street

Ryan Kwanten drew a crowd on Friday night (April 1) at a busy intersection in Hollywood – but he wasn’t the center of attention.

“There was a bloody guy lying in the middle of the street at Hollywood and Highland and no one was doing anything. Ryan pulled up, saw the man down, jumped out of his car, and raced over to see if he could help,” a witness on the scene exclusively tells

Our source says the 34-year-old True Blood star screamed they had to get the injured man off the street immediately, so with help from a few other guys, he carried the man off to the sidewalk.

“He stayed there watching him until paramedics arrived,” adds the source. “There was a crowd gathering and people recognized Ryan but he was just focused on making sure this guy was okay.”

No word on the man’s condition but thankfully Ryan stepped up and helped out. Hottie with a heart!

Thank God for decent folks even in Hollywood. He did the right thing why the hell were people just standing there before he dashed in. It could be your son, husband, daughter, mother etc.

When someone’s in trouble just help. Yes, it could be dangerous but I say try.

I hope this guy is ok. Think, I just became a fan of True Blood even more.

  • Sandra

Thank you Ryan! You are a hero.

  • Sandra

This just makes him even more sexy.

  • Angie

Poor Ryan, he’s so underrated. See I love the fact that somebody on True Blood gets some attention for good deeds and not for their personal life.

    Love him even more!

What a good Samaritan, and so rare in Hollywood!

Trust an Aussie to help out. Shame Americans only ever help themselves.

  • Anna

He always seems like such a genuine, nice guy. Beautiful inside and out! He’s actually a really amazing actor, too – but I don’t think he gets recognized as much as some others because he doesn’t play the Hollywood game. Bravo for staying true to you – sounds like a great person to be!

  • He’s an Aussie

Thats what we australians are like, we CARE about other people. Good on you for stepping up Ryan, I cant believe no body was doing anything to help the poor guy. I hope he was OK.

If this story is true, it’s pretty disgusting that nothing was done prior to Ryan pulling up. And I wouldn’t say Thank god for decent folk in Hollywood. Evidently there aren’t many. Ryan’s not even from Hollywood, his an Aussie.

    @He’s an Aussie:

Yeah in America our scum lawyers prevent you from even trying to help anyone out of fear that you will be sued if anything goes wrong while you’re helping out. Yep, one step at a time America is turning us into robots.

  • lololol

    <3 cool

  • jasmine

Wow, sounds like an awesome guy. It really is completely disgusting that no one was doing anything before Ryan saw the man. It reminds me of all those stories of people being robbed and stabbed or raped in plain sight and not a damn person did anything. Effing scum, I tell you. More people need to act like Ryan. Way to go!

  • Helena

    what a sweetheart!

I’m glad Ryan helped him and hope he’s ok, but why do people always make a big deal out of a CELEBRITY helping people who need it. Like it’s a shock that (again) a CELEBRITY would help someone, anyone would have, and I don’t really believe nobody else helped and that they just watched. (maybe some people did) I kinda feel bad for the people who maybe also helped and are not thanked for it, ’cause ooh Ryan Kwanten was there and he was the hero, come on! (Like that’s the most important thing, right?) I love Ryan ever since he was on Home and Away, and I’m sure he’s a great guy, just like any other actor or non-actor, but he’s not superman. That’s just what I think.

“no one was doing anything” are you telling me that they were just ignoring the poor man ?.
