OlderLeighton Meester: Mellow Yellow on 'Gossip Girl'
Leighton Meester adds a splash of color on the set of Gossip Girl on Thursday (July 7) in New York City.
The 25-year-old actress filmed scenes for the upcoming season on the Upper East Side wearing a bright yellow top, a lemon-printed skirt, and orange Brian Atwood “Maniac” pumps.
Leighton recently sat down with MTV News to chat about her latest film, Monte Carlo.
“It was fun both on and off [screen],” Leighton shared about filming in Europe. “A lot of what was happening on screen was just an extension of the fun we were having outside.”
“We got up in the Eiffel Tower. But it wasn’t just go up for a trip, we got there all alone. It was just us at 5 a.m. when the sun was just rising. It was really beautiful,” she revealed, while co-star Selena Gomez joked, “We rented out the Eiffel Tower, no big deal.”

don’t get your hope high…this is gg we’re talking about. i’m sure they will introduce doctors and miscarriages and stupid stuff like that….i admire leighton for being so gracious about this crappy show. new writers with actual talent would make this show amazing…

This show stopped being good a few years ago. The characters are stuck in a holding pattern. No one ever changes. It’s become boring not fun.
