Kate Bosworth attends the opening ceremony of the 37th Deauville American Film Festival on Friday (September 2) in Deauville, France.
The 28-year-old actress walked the red carpet with her rumored beau, director Michael Polish, whom she’s working with on her new movie Big Sur.

She looks fine. I think with these pictures where she is looking perfectly fine the people who hate her are going to find it hard to judge her like they always do. Can’t say I’m a great fan of her, but she seems to bring out the worst in people for some reason.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but she actually doesn’t look bad here. I like her shoes and the dress is covering up her scrawny body. Though if you look at the closeups you can see how much makeup she is wearing and how it’s settling in the creases in her skin. I’ll say one thing, she is getting from Michael Polish what she never got from Alex and that is public affection. I don’t think Alex would have ever walked a red carpet with her.
She does look good. She has to, time is not on her side and she needs a to try to land a big fish. I love that she’s with Michael Polish and it’s probably killing her. Somerhalder, Bloom, Rousseau , Skarsgard…Polish? HAHAHAHAHA!! He’s probably a great guy but that hooch probably think she’s doing him a favor.
I don’t know what she’s doing there but she looks good. I mean, I like her dress and her shoes too.

@Camille: She actually does look good here (as long as you don’t look too closely at the hands). And yes MP is touching her and smiling, so he’s acting like an actual boyfriend, which undoubtedly makes her happy.
As to why she’s there, I have not idea. Could be because he got invited, or they both did.

She’s gorgeous! She looks so happy and healthy and…well…perfect! I love the way Michael Polish (brilliant director) is holding her face and looking at her. Makes me swoon!

She might be there because Polish has something going on maybe. Either that or she’s trying to drum up the money from those “French financiers” for Lost Hotels or whatever it’s called and hoping to schmooze at the festival. Didn’t she say she was working with a French filmmaker on something last time she came back from fashion week in London? Could be something to do with that too.
