Sarah Michelle Gellar hosts Operation Shower at the Riviera Country Club on Wednesday (February 15) in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The 34-year-old Ringer star joined military moms at the group baby shower, which had the theme “A Star is Born.”
Each mom-to-be went home with Operation Shower‘s signature “Shower in a Box,” including products for mothers and babies donated by companies such as Carousel Designs and Pottery Barn Kids.
“You stand next to these women and you realize how much they have to sacrifice,” Sarah told Us Weekly. “It’s hard enough to have your partner, your spouse, go to work every day, but can you imagine? They don’t know if they’ll even come home or what condition they’ll be in. And they’re sacrificing all this for us.”

Her show is great! Need to know why they put hart of dixie before her. Hart of dixie comes on two times. Monday and Tue nights. Why is that?

@Just me: They put a Hart of Dixie repeat on because 90210 is on hiatus. They put a ton of Ringer repeats in before the winter hiatus, so now they are putting some Hart of Dixie ones in.
I adore Sarah but she should step away from this kind of thing, she shouldn’t follow the steps of other celebrities.

It’s so easy to believe that our political authorities had send our military men to another country to kill the natives for good reasons like if we don’t kill them there they will come here soon. Seriously?
I don’t remember Iraqis killing loads of Americans in our territory. I don’t think they will have the capacity to invade and kill thousands of Americans here anytime soon. They certainly have good reasons to blow up something over here since we have done it countless times over there.
Cassie, I was completely against the Iraq war and marched against it here in DC several times. I think war should always be the absolute last resort, not a political option. However, it’s important to separate the soldier from the mission. The soldiers have no say whatsoever about their orders. The responsibility for that rests squarely with congress, the president, and the top brass. Our military and their families get the short end of the stick in so many ways, and they will always get my full support and respect, even when I disagree with the decisions made by those in command.

Whether or not you agree with the war, there is no denying the sacrifices these soldiers make day in and day out. That deserves respect, because they are putting their lives on the line every single day for us.
