Victor Garber & Ashley Greene Sign on for Drama Pilots

Ashley Greene and Rachael Taylor are both headed to ABC for drama pilots.

The 25-year-old Twilight star, who previously appeared in the network’s Pan Am, will co-star in Americana, a soapy drama about a fashion designer and his family business, according THR.

Rachael, meanwhile, will play the lead role in ABC’s 666 Park Avenue opposite Dave Annable. The show, based on the book series by Gabriella Pierce, centers around a young couple who accept an offer to manage a historic NYC apartment building.

Victor Garber will go to NBC for its drama pilot Notorious, “an opulent soap in which a female detective returns undercover to the wealthy Lawson family she grew up in – as the maid’s daughter – to solve the murder of the notorious heiress who was once her closest friend,” Deadline reports.

Nico Tortorella will star opposite Kevin Bacon in FOX’s untitled thriller about an ex-FBI agent who searches for a diabolical serial killer.

Oh, but I thought poor little Princess Ashley was too much of a silver screen legend/heavyweight to stoop so low for a tv show. Wasn’t that clearly her argument when she was a total diva bit$h to the Pan Am cast members. Christina Ricci is a much bigger star than she’ll ever be. Can’t wait until this new show gets cancelled. We’ll see then where she ends up. Even Lifetime wouldn’t hire this talentless stuck-up twat.

@Jessica Rabbit: You follow her career so closely for someone who hates her so much! You clearly missed on that part, though, when her Pan Am co-star and people who had direct contact with her on set came to her defend and dismissed those rumors. ABC was obviously pleased with her to hire her again and they wouldn’t have to if she was such a pain, especially if she was so ‘talentless’ like you said. But hey, whatever you find ammo to justify your hate for her! Ashley’s first ‘silver screen’ lead is coming in a few months and she was signed for another leading role with the producer behind Moneyball and The Social Network. Butter with Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Garnner and LOL with Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus are indies coming out soon too. If she’s willing to make TV appearances on the side, then kudos. She obviously has no problem with it and is keeping herself busy. Unlike some people who apparently has nothing better to do than hold grudges on people they never met or personally know.

FOX’s untitled one sounds interesting. I love those kind of shows. Also, 666 Park Avenue sounds pretty cool. Will not be watching Ashley’s show, kind of tired of all those fashion tv shows and they usually get cancelled before you even get a chance to love them.

It’s from Kevin Williamson. The guy who wrote Scream, Scream 2, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Dawson’s Creek and The Vampire Diaries. It will be amazing.

I’m glad for Nico Tortorella.

@Sarah:

Oh wow, you surely are defensive aren’t ya? You must be her pubicist. You sure took the time to namedrop everyone she’s working with to validate her relevance in the movie industry. Bwahahaha, you’re in deep denial babe.

Ashley Greene has that quality to her that I can’t stand lol. It’s like, there’s nothing really wrong with her, she’s not what I’d call “gorgeous” but she’s cute, but then like… in interviews, she tries too hard to be sweet and charming. It just comes off as forced.
