Kate Walsh Talks 'Private Practice' Baby on 'GMA'

Kate Walsh flashes a smile while leaving the Good Morning America studio on Monday (April 23) in New York City.

The 44-year-old actress was on the morning news program to chat about her ABC drama, Private Practice, and her character’s baby news.

“I didn’t find out until the table read. It was really exciting,” Kate shared. “I think [having a child] kinda softens [Addison] up a bit.”

“The whole show this year, a lot of it deals with parenthood and family dynamics and kind of growing up,” Kate added. “It’s really dealing with people that are professionally at their apex of their career and mixing in family dynamics and relationships and all the sex and everything.”
