OlderMaria Sharapova Talks New Year's Eve Plans (Exclusive)
Maria Sharapova is all smiles during a practice session on day one of the Brisbane International on Sunday (December 30) at Pat Rafter Arena in Brisbane, Australia.
The day before, the 25-year-old tennis star practiced her swings before the start of the tournament. She was also spotted looking chic while arriving at the airport earlier in the weekend.
Maria recently chatted with JustJared.com about her New Year’s Eve plans.
“With Australia being hours ahead of the states, I get to ring in the new year before my friends. This year, my family and team will go to dinner then maybe a fireworks show then it’s off to bed as the Australian Open will be in full swing,” Maria shared.
Maria is in town to compete in the Brisbane International tennis tournament and prepare for the Australian Open, set to start in January.
