Nicki Minaj Confirms 'American Idol' Exit After One Season

Nicki Minaj has confirmed she is leaving American Idol after serving as a judge for one season.

“Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!” the 30-year-old rapper tweeted.

Randy Jackson already confirmed that he will not return next year and Mariah Carey also announced this evening that she is exiting the singing competition.

No news yet on if Keith Urban will return, but rumors have indicated the judging panel will be completely new next year, possibly including former contestant Jennifer Hudson.
