After the devastating news of Cory Monteith‘s untimely death, his longtime girlfriend and Glee co-star Lea Michele‘s rep has released a statement.

“We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea‘s privacy during this devastating time,” the 26-year-old actress’s rep said.

Cory was sadly found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver after not checking out at the time he was expected to leave on Saturday (July 13).
