Daniel Radcliffe: 'Kill Your Darlings' is 'Just a Love Story'
Daniel Radcliffe greets fans outside of the BBC Radio 2 Studios on Monday (September 23) in London, England.
The 24-year-old English actor is in town to promote his upcoming film Kill Your Darlings, which tells the story of a murder in 1944 that draws together the great poets of the beat generation.
“For me, Kill Your Darlings is a film about young love in whatever form it takes. It wasn’t any more challenging than if you’re doing a sexual awakening scene with a girl,” Daniel recently shared to Daily Record about filming his gay sex scenes. “At no point did any of us want to do anything that would distinguish it from how we would fall in love with somebody. To my knowledge, there is no difference in how heterosexual and homosexual people fall in love. A lot of people are quick to ask if it’s a gay love story—well, yes, they are gay characters, but it’s just a love story.”
FYI: Daniel is wearing a Black Fleece jacket, an ASOS sweater, Todd Snyder pants, and Johnston & Murphy shoes.
