The Jonas BrothersNick, Kevin, and Joe – have officially cancelled their upcoming tour, People reports.

“There is a deep rift within the band,” their spokesman, Jesse Derris, told the publication. “There was a big disagreement over their music direction.”

Reportedly, there was a big argument over the weekend where Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25, fought over the direction of their music, resulting in the cancellation of the 19 date tour. The tour was supposed to kick off this Friday.

Ticket holders will be refunded their tickets.

ARE YOU UPSET that the Jonas Brothers have cancelled their tour due to a “big disagreement”???

It’s likely no one was buying tickets and this is the excuse they’re using.

It’s a shame The Virus is still going strong, getting free promotion from Jared and other media sources for her sh%tty album, while The Jonas Brothers are done.

Then again, they’re no Hanson.

Keep it real, the tour was canceled because of low ticket sells, who do they think they’re fooling?

# 3

@Sayer: @Nicole: LOL I was thinking the same thing. No one’s buying this BS excuse.

# 4

Good! I’m glad joe and Kevin finally stood up to nicks bossy attitude. Hope joe goes solo now!!

Why are they all squinting in the pic above? They told it makes them sexeh?

It would probably be a better idea to say it was due to poor sales, because I think that’s something a lot of artists struggle with. They clearly don’t want to play smaller areas, and sometimes that’s better than getting this kind of press. Clearly the Jonas Brothers aren’t at the same height of fame they were at a couple of years ago, so don’t make it about pride. Playing smaller gigs still brings in money, but by putting it out there that you’re siblings who are having a petty fight and in turn making a whole bunch of people lose money and time that they’ve invested for your tour just makes you look immature, rude, and selfish. I fight with my siblings all the time, sometimes very badly…and, at most, that squabble will last a week. What happens in a week when they work it out but everyone on their team suffered money loss to feed their families because of a stupid fight? The guys who put their stage together don’t make the same money they do. I’m just saying. So, in the end, I hope it’s ticket sales because this reasoning is very stupid.

More like they realize there washed up and nobody give a crap about them anymore.

I think the rift is with their hair stylist who clearly hates them!

@Angie: I have to respectfully disagree with your comment. Nick isn’t bossy, he just comes off as a serious musician…someone who takes his artisty very serious. Nick was a solo artist to begin with and then his brothers came in for the ride and they took off. Joe’s voice is whiney at best and his look isn’t marketable, which is why his solo career tanked. Kevin isn’t marketable either. Both of them balance out Nick, but Nick is the glue for this band. He has the voice, look, drive, and talent. I’ve also met them many times before, and believe me or not…Joe is the ego-tripping diva who can’t focus. Nick was the one who actually mediated fights. For the youngest brother, he’s also the most mature.

Where are their eyes on that picture?

Wow, put your differences aside, play some music, and make some money. They are dumber than I thought.

Jonas who? No one even cares about these musicians of yesteryear anymore.

@Mary: They’re searching for their career.

Have a strong feeling its more about ticket sells or, the lack of them. I love Nick and think he’s got the best chance alone. I think they should just accept that they aren’t a boy band anymore. They are the Hanson’s all over again and the Hanson’s moved on and aren’t as big as they were but they made the leap and have a large adult following now.

Are their managers and promoters stupid? I don’t think they’re that stupid. Shouldn’t they have resolved that BEFORE they set tour dates and sold tickets? Makes me think it’s something else. I’m agreeing with low ticket sales.

I actually like the Jonas Brothers but this is laughable. They just want attention.

Umm… what the heck Nick’s arms? When did that happen?

what band, the brothers play air guitar with unplugged instruments, they have studio musicians behind them who do the real playing. you can get away with this stuff when your audience is 10 year old girls.

Wolverine ? Is it you ?!
