Veteran Actress Elaine Stritch Drops F-Bomb Live on the 'Today' Show (Video)

Veteran of the stage and screen Elaine Stritch made quite the splash after her appearance on the Today show alongside hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford when she dropped the F-bomb on Tuesday morning (February 18) in New York City.

“Elaine, you are so beloved as much for your work, but also for your mouth,” Hoda said during the interview. “You say whatever you want to say.”

“Thank god it hasn’t been passed on television,” the 89-year-old entertainer joked. “If you just say things naturally, it’s fine. They just think in f**k.”

Later, Elaine tweeted a pic of her with the duo, adding, “LOVE these broads, but no F’ING way they get the last word on this show!”
