Jessica Alba to 'Nylon' Magazine: Acting is 'Like a Drug'

Jessica Alba shows off her rockin’ figure on the cover of Nylon magazine’s March 2014 issue.

Here’s what the 32-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On being able to choose different roles: “I don’t have to be a boss; I don’t have to be a wife; I don’t have to be a sister … It’s been liberating to be able to play someone who’s a badass or promiscuous, because that’s the opposite of who I am … It’s like a drug.”

On learning to be herself: “Before, I was so fearful of failure and judgment that I was scared to put myself out there. You don’t have to be a robot. You don’t have to be appropriate all the time. I used to be so hard on myself … but you have to realize that as long as you don’t make a habit of it, tomorrow will be here, and everything will be OK.”

Also pictured inside: Jessica leaving LAX Airport on Tuesday (February 25) and arriving in Paris, France the next day.

FYI: Jessica is wearing a Gap denim jacket on the cover.

What does a non-actress know about acting? And now she says she likes playing a promiscuous woman, yet complained in the past for being called a “sex symbol”
    She’s very dishonest and pretentious.

LOL leave it to psychic Alba to tell you the future…b*tch , you never know if tomorrow will come or not, and people die every day..stop trying to sound like a philosopher because you just make yourself sound dumber and dumber every time you speak. Just stop and please go away already..your career ended 10 years ago..

“on being able to choose different roles” eeuuuhhhh lol! what?? what roles are we talking ’bout here? i get that her baby products are doing well, but does she really think shes still relevant when it comes to her acting career? that ship has sailed honey. stick to the mommy stuff.

I’ve had the pleasure of assisting her at a clothes store back in the days when no one knew who she was and was going out with Michael Weatherly of NCIS. Anyway, she was a whiny b*tch then and I’m sure with her so called success, she’s probably a bigger b*itch now. Jessica Alba is fake and tries to hard to act/sound like there’s something there. Pretty face but no substance at all.

I feel bad for her in a way. She tries SO hard to sound smart and relevant, but she sounds SO dumb!! I guess in a way it’s kind of amusing.

Can we get her into rehab… That way her addiction will stop ruining movies that might have been ok without her.
