Chris Evans Sets the Record Straight on Retiring Rumors!

Chris Evans is all smiles while making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (March 31) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the 32-year-old actor promoted his new film Captain America: The Winter Soldier during a taping of Good Morning America in the Big Apple.

“I said that I directed last year. I really responded to it. I really enjoyed it,” Chris shared on the morning show. “I’d love to focus a little bit more on that.”

Chris added, “By no means am I planning on retiring. It’s kind of a silly statement. But I certainly am going to try to focus a bit more on directing at this point.”
