don´t like country music, but I respect the fact that she was brave to do something different aware of all the stupid and hateful people

    Boring Says:

So she co-directed an amateur video for an unknown band/ singer that is her friend.

I’m glad that I know a couple music video directors (and assistant directors in a few movies), who I went to college with and they have that education backing them up. A lot of nepotism with this chick…

    talia Says:

@Rose: it was music video for a friend who asked her if she would co-direct the video plus I think most of the people who work at Starlight Studios actually have the education to back them up.

    LOL... Says:

I knew people were gonna start the hateful comments as soon as they found out she was gonna try something new ..LOL @Rose .. if you gonna call out nepotism i guess evryone in hollywood are in the same boat . Just to remind you the same thing happens in reality for people not in the movie business. Everybody starts somewhere and that woman has been in this business all her life , so that argument is moot . Sorry your college friends are struggling maybe they need to try harder and start small like evryone else . Great example Taratino worked at a Blockbuster video store …….. Look at him now . Besides it’s a simple little music video … good for her … “nothing ventured nothing gained ‘ !

Nikki Reed actually directed a music video for Sage’s single “Edie Sedgewick” a few years ago, and it was really good. I don’t know if Nikki is still friends with Sage, but at least she used to be. Maybe Sage found it would be more beneficial for her to be friends with Kristen. Idk.
Good to see Kristen exploring different artistic venues though. Really like the feel in this video.

    Location Says:

Well, I find the video boring and plain, but if she likes directing, she should keep doing it. Just not my taste.

    Hubert Says:

i kinda fell bad for her. she doesn’t have the creativity of a director. it’s been seen and done many times.

    Randy Says:

@LOL…: cough cough to your ignorant comment. Some people in the business work hard but even if some work hard they don’t always get the budget or luck or exposure and contacts that others do. If kristen wouldn’t have been cast in twilight or whatever, who knows maybe she would still be struggling and still trying to get a job. if she was in that position, she would be singing a different tune.

Man people hate on her for everything. I bet she can’t even breathe right in their eyes.

Kristen’s work on this is great! I really like the video. I mean, the singer’s voice not so much… But the video is very similar to what has been out there, especially in country music. I’m assuming this is supposed to be Country, right?

Wow, that was a pretty bad video.
KStew had a Co-Director so she certainly doesn’t get all the blame.
I especially hated the editing- it reminded me of that typical of Freshman film (first semester) student work. Yikes.

Cool video … Just keep plugging away and ignore and haters. You have your own vision and it is beautiful.
