Robert Downey, Jr. Releases Statement on Son Indio's Arrest
Robert Downey, Jr. has released a statement following his 20-year-old son Indio‘s arrest for cocaine possession over the weekend.
“Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being,” the 49-year-old Iron Man actor said in his statement (via TMZ). “We’re grateful to the Sheriff’s department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale.”
In some more positive news for Robert, he was just named the Most Powerful Actor in the World by Forbes for the mag’s Celebrity 100 list.
