Michael Douglas 'Lost a Good Three Years' From Tongue Cancer Battle

Michael Douglas suits up while attending the premiere of his latest film The Reach during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival held at Princess of Wales Theatre on Friday (September 5) in Toronto, Calif.

The 69-year-old actor was joined by his handsome co-star Jeremy Irvine.

“With a vengeance, I lost a good three years there and you come out the other side and you do have a new energy source,” Michael shared at the premiere about his recent battle with tongue cancer.

He added, “People have different ways of smelling the roses. You’d be foolish, as you begin your third act, not to look at where the end of the play is.”
