Misty Upham's Body Believed to Be Found in Washington

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of August: Osage County actress Misty Upham may have been solved.

The 32-year-old actress’ body was believed to be found in a wooded area near a cliff in Washington, according to The Seattle Times.

Police spokesman Steve Stocker told the paper there was a “good chance” the body found near the White River in Auburn was hers, though no official identification or determination of gender has been made yet.

Misty was last seen leaving her sister’s apartment in Muckleshoot, Washington on October 5, and her family filed a missing person’s report the following day.

Misty played the role Johnna Monevata, the caregiver to Meryl Streep‘s character, in the movie August: Osage County. She received a SAG Award nomination alongside the cast for her work in the film.
