J.K. Rowling Reveals There Are LGBT Students at Hogwarts

J.K. Rowling has been revealing all sorts of behind-the-scenes information about her hit book series “Harry Potter” – and now she’s saying there have been LGBT students at Hogwarts!

“do you think there are a lot of LGBT students in modern age Hogwarts? I like to imagine they formed an LGBT club it’s safe to assume that Hogwarts had a variety of people and I like to think it’s a safe place for LGBT students” one fan asked the famous author on Twitter.

J.K. had a perfect response, where she said “But of course” and included an inspiring poster that reads, “If Harry Potter taught us anything it’s that no one should live in a closet.” During that same Twitter chat, J.K. also revealed there was a Jewish wizard at Hogwarts.
