Michael Keaton Insults Michael Strahan's Critics' Choice Opening

Michael Keaton was not a fan of the opening dance sequence from host Michael Strahan at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and he let it be known during his acceptance speech.

The opening featured the host doing a Magic Mike dance and ripping off his pants as he is nervous his scene in the upcoming sequel might be cut, so he wants everyone to see what he did.

The 63-year-old actor won the award for Best Acting Ensemble along with his Birdman cast and when he got to the stage, he insulted the whole bit.

“You know, considering how extremely uncomfortable that opening was, I say we pick it up, and no one better than Andrea to say thank you,” Michael said while letting his co-star Andrea Riseborough accept the award.

Strahan is awful. If he was half as good as he is confident, he’d be okay. It’s awkward seeing him trying to make every bit about him and he’s not funny. Would have been smarter if he just played it straight, he may be a good NFL analyst but he should never host a live award show again.

Not a Strahan fan but nonetheless, I just don’t see where Michael Keaton insulted him. I know you’re trying to get clicks JJ but damn, do you really think so little of us and think we’re stupid insipid automatons who just let you call shit as you $ee it and expect us to simply say “ok, Jared said it’s like this and so it must be?”
