Eva Longoria Will Become Diva Actress in NBC Comedy 'Telenovela'

Eva Longoria flashes a smile while arriving for a departing flight at LAX Airport on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles.

It was just announced that the 39-year-old actress will be returning to prime-time TV by starring in the upcoming NBC show Telenovela, where she will play a diva named Ana Maria, who is the star of a telenovela.

“There are few actresses with as much international appeal as Eva Longoria,” NBC president Jennifer Salke shared in a statement. “She is a perfect fit for Telenovela. Her character will try to navigate the hysteria and high jinks that everyone must endure in putting together a daily show.”
