Tatiana Maslany Says 'Orphan Black's LGBT Fans Enlighten Her
Tatiana Maslany walks the purple carpet at the Orphan Black panel held during PaleyFest on Sunday (October 18) in New York City.
The 30-year-old Emmy-nominated actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Jordan Gavaris, Kristian Bruun, and Maria Doyle Kennedy, as well as series creator Graeme Manson.
Tatiana opened up during the panel about how the show resonates so well with LGBT fans.
“They enlighten that for me,” Tatiana said (via Deadline). “I feel such a strong sense of a responsibility to the fans. I knew subconsciously we were talking about bodily autonomy, but it was reading essays from trans people and gay people that opened my eyes to how that was being talked about.”
FYI: Tatiana is wearing a Roksanda jumpsuit, Kurt Geiger shoes, an Edie Parker clutch, Joan Hornig earrings, and Melinda Maria rings.
