Adele Reveals How Motherhood Affected Her Songwriting

Adele steps out of her hotel wearing a chic Burberry dress on Monday morning (November 16) in New York City.

The 27-year-old singer, who just released a preview of her new song “When We Were Young,” recently opened up to The Guardian about her songwriting process.

Adele revealed that she “couldn’t completely lose herself, as she had before” while writing her music.

“I couldn’t give in to any of that in order to access my creativity. There was no opportunity… Because now I’m responsible for someone,” Adele said, referring to being a mom.
