Carrie Underwood Leaves 'Ginormous' Tips on Christmas Day

Carrie Underwood is opening up about her plans for the Christmas holiday in the new issue of People Country.

The 32-year-old country singer says that she and her family, including husband Mike Fisher, will be going out for breakfast on Christmas morning. As tradition, she always makes sure to take care of the wait staff on the special day.

“Well get up and go to Waffle House,” Carrie said. “It’s such a hectic time, and I don’t feel like making breakfast on a day that you’re just making so much food anyway. So we order breakfast and leave a ginormous tip.”

When asked about shopping for her nine-month-old son Isaiah, Carrie said she’s not going to go overboard.

“I feel there’s a lot of Christmas that has kind of gotten lost,” she said. “[Mike and I] have talked about not wanting to spoil our kids. We want it to be more about the family and the fun times.”
