Adele Tops Hot 100 for Eighth Week, Makes History with 'Hello'

Adele is on top of the Billboard Hot 100 for the eighth week in a row with her smash hit single “Hello” and this marks her longest reign on the chart!

The 27-year-old singer previously ruled the singles chart with “Rolling in the Deep” back in 2011.

Adele has tied Mariah Carey‘s song “Fantasy” for the fourth-longest stretch on the Hot 100 chart. Mariah also has the longest reigning number one song with “One Sweet Day,” which spent 16 weeks on top of the chart back in the mid-90s.

Also at number one this week is Adele‘s album 25, which has been released for four weeks now.
