Kiersey Clemons Eyed for Lead Role in 'The Flash'

Kiersey Clemons is rumored to be the front runner for the female lead in the upcoming DC film The Flash, according to Variety.

The 22-year-old actress already starred in director Rick Famuyiwa‘s other film Dope and he’s looking to work with her again.

Kiersey would be taking on the role of Iris West, the tough journalist and friend of Barry Allen, the alter ego of the Flash.

The film also stars Ezra Miller, who first appeared as the superhero in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Production is set to begin later this year.
