Tonga's Pita Taufatofua Returns for Rio Olympics 2016 Closing Ceremony!

Tonga’s famous flag bearer, Pita Taufatofua, made another shirtless appearance at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony on Sunday (August 21) at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Pita became an Internet sensation during the Rio Opening Ceremony earlier in the month. Fans loved that Pita looked very oiled up while carrying the flag of his country.

“Felt soo privileged to get out on those mats and represent Tonga! There are no excuses, I started slow, got caught and lost to a legend of Taekwondo, a great opponent in Iran. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn!” Pita wrote on Instagram. “It took me 20 years to get here, if it takes another 20 we will bring that Gold home!
