Ellen Pompeo Slams A&E for 'Generation KKK' Series, Wants a Boycott of Network
Ellen Pompeo is speaking out on Twitter about a new A&E series called Generation KKK, where the network will give viewers a look into the lives of families headed by members of the Ku Klux Klan (a racist organization).
The Grey’s Anatomy star took to Twitter to express her shock and outrage at the network’s choice to normalize the KKK for anyone with cable to see.
Ellen sent out several tweets on the subject, which you can read below.
“We shouldn’t be giving ignorance a platform we already did that this year and look what it got us,” Ellen said, referencing this tumultuous election year resulting in Donald Trump‘s presidency.
Hey I have an idea…why don't we all never watch ANYTHING on A&E again who's with me????
