Britney Spears Says Niece Maddie is 'Making Progress'

Britney Spears is providing an update on her niece Maddie, who nearly drowned in a recent ATV accident.

The 35-year-old entertainer took to Instagram to share the news that Maddie, 8, is recovering, and to thank fans for their support.

“We are so grateful to share that Maddie is making progress,” Brit wrote. “Thank you all for sending thoughts and prayers our way. Let’s all keep praying.”

Maddie is reportedly talking and aware of her surroundings after regaining consciousness.
