LeAnn Rimes Opens Up About The Importance of Pride Celebrations (Exclusive)

LeAnn Rimes holds Pride celebrations near and dear to her heart!

The 34-year-old entertainer took part in Houston’s annual Pride celebration on Saturday (June 24) and exclusively took Just Jared behind-the-scenes.

As LeAnn got ready with her hairstylist Mateo Sifuentes, she opened up about the importance of Pride.

“A ‘Pride’ celebration is a living thing. It is breathing authenticity. It’s a space we hold for one another, a place to come into what our souls move us to be, it’s a place in love and only love,” LeAnn said.

She continued, “That’s why the LGBTQ community continues to inspire me and enliven my spirit every time I perform for them.”

LeAnn has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQ and was even honored with the Ally for Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign earlier this year.
