Donald Trump Tweeted About LGBT Rights in 2016, Gets Dragged on Twitter Today
Donald Trump is getting dragged on Twitter today with a past tweet being brought to the spotlight after his shocking ban of transgender individuals in the military.
On June 14, 2016, during Pride Month and months before he won the General Election, Trump tweeted, “Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.”
By association, Trump’s daughter Ivanka is also being dragged after tweeting, “I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy,” this past June.
Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.

Tell me more about this-you do know the T stands for Trans right?

I have an idea. Let YOUR family members join the military to replace the BRAVE TRANSGENDER men and women serving in our military.

Are you really? I know you aren't your dad but how can you stand behind him and support his actions towards the LBGTQ community
— Jennifer Sims (@Jennifer_Sims80) July 26, 2017
You… you know who your dad is, right? Maybe you go talk to him. …use small words.

You know that words mean things right? You can't say you support #LGBTQ indv. & support @POTUS bigotry. Which is it? #complicit #NoTrumpHate

Do you have LGBTQ friends? Do you have friends?
