'Deadpool 2' Stuntwoman Killed on Set in Motorcycle Crash

A stunt person has died after a motorcycle crash on the set of Deadpool 2.

The tragic accident happened on Monday morning (August 14) while filming in Vancouver, Canada.

The stunt person, who TMZ reports to be female, was riding a motorcycle when it crashed through the glass of the Shaw Tower’s ground-floor studio. The brakes were reportedly not applied on the motorcycle.

“Vancouver Police can confirm that a female stunt driver has died on the set of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle,” the Vancouver PD said in a statement.

Emergency responders pulled the stunt person from the crash and she was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Last week, a stunt double for Zazie Beetz‘s character Domino was spotted riding a motorcycle through the streets of Vancouver.
