Jeff Bridges' Home Decimated By Montecito Mudslides

Jeff Bridges is one of the many people affected by the devastating mudslides in Montecito, California.

The 68-year-old Big Lebowski star’s home was wrecked in the mudslides, according to TMZ.

Oprah Winfrey pointed out that one of her neighbors’ homes was totally destroyed while speaking to Ellen DeGeneres via FaceTime, and as it turns out, that home belongs to Jeff.

Jeff bought the home 3 years ago for $6.8 million. It’s still unknown whether the house is totally lost due to debris making it impossible to access at this time. For now, he says it is “severely damaged.”

“Our home has been severely damaged, but we are safe, and so thankful for that and for the first responders who are working tirelessly to save people. We are heartbroken over the loss of lives in our community. Your prayers and best wishes are most appreciated,” he wrote on Twitter.

The mudslides have killed at least 17 people and 8 are still missing, and a hundred homes were destroyed.
