Charlie Walk Out at Republic Records Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

Charlie Walk is no longer with Republic Records.

The records company and its former president “mutually agreed” to parting ways, according to a statement given to Variety on Wednesday (March 28).

The move comes after five female former employees accused Charlie of sexual harassment. He was initially placed on leave from the company at the end of January, as well as being axed from The Four‘s season finale. He was a judge on the show.

“I did not do these things and this is not who I am. Throughout my career I have always sought to conduct myself professionally and appropriately. It is upsetting to be presented with false claims from long ago that I know to be untrue and were never reported. I support the national discussion taking place right now because I believe fully in the importance in treating everyone with respect and dignity at all times,” Charlie said, defending himself to Rolling Stone at the end of February.
