Adam Sandler Is Hosting 'Saturday Night Live' for the First Time

Adam Sandler is returning to Saturday Night Live to host for the very first time on May 4.

Although known as one of the show’s biggest stars back in the ’90s, he’s never hosted the show until now!

This is also his first time appearing on SNL since the 40th anniversary special in 2015.

Shawn Mendes will be the musical guest for the episode.

“We are happy to welcome Adam back to SNL in what is sure to be a special night,” said Lorne Michaels.

Adam first joined the show as a writer in 1990 before becoming part of the cast until 1995.
