'Avengers: Endgame' Beats $2 Billion Box Office Record!

Avengers: Endgame is officially dominating on a historic level.

The Marvel superhero film pushed past the $2 billion mark in its second week in movie theaters, Variety confirmed on Sunday (May 5).

Endgame crushed the record for the fastest film to reach that mark, and is now only one of five movies to ever do so. Avatar previously held the record after meeting the $2 million mark after 47 days.

The other movies to do so are Titanic, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Infinity War.

It’s also now the second-highest grossing movie of all time.
